Kum — Hourglass Day

One metaphor, zero noise. Kum (Turkish for "sand") shows your day as a sand column filling on your wrist. In the slim glass tube at the center, the sand level is the percentage of the day elapsed: at midnight the tube empties ("a new day, a clean page") and fills as the day goes on. There is no second hand, yet you feel it flow — memento vivere.

THE COLUMN THAT SPLITS TIME
The two digits of the clock sit on either side of the tube; the glass column takes the place of the ":" separator between hours and minutes. This single move puts readability first and creates a signature recognizable from across a room.

EVERYTHING AT A GLANCE
• DAY % — how much of the day has flowed, the sand level itself
• Steps — a dark sediment band at the base of the sand; what you accumulate as it flows
• Heart rate — your live pulse
• Weather — current conditions for your location
• Battery — a small bar continuing the language of the sand
The 24 dim dots around the rim are the hours of the day; the single bright dot is the current position of the sun.

THREE SAND PALETTES
Change the entire color identity from the editor — geometry and level mechanic stay the same:
• Warm Sand — the signature warm brown-gold palette (default)
• Volcanic — pure black background, black-gold sand
• Moon Dust — cool grey sand, calm white type

CUSTOMIZATION (from the Wear OS watch face editor)
• Sand palette: Warm Sand / Volcanic / Moon Dust
• Animations: a flow pulse — a faint light drifting inside the stream line (on/off)
• Time format: System / 12-hour / 24-hour
• DAY % label: show / hide
• Show heart rate, Show steps, Show weather: toggle each data field on or off
When you hide a data field the face is never left blank; faint sand-grain dots take its place, keeping the composition balanced.

ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY (AOD)
In ambient mode the face drops to fine lines: the tube outline, the level line, and the column silhouette that splits time in two. The deep background — optimized for AMOLED — protects your battery, and the level line keeps rising once a minute even in AOD.
